Who we are and what we do.
The University of Technology Sydney Case Team provides business students the opportunity to compete in domestic and international Business Case Competitions. The UTS Case Team allows elite UTS Business Students to develop their consulting skills and to compete in case competitions against some of the best business schools in the world. Members are trained in many areas required for case competitions including problem solving, slide design and public speaking.
The UTS Case Team was established in 2018 after UTS was given the opportunity to compete overseas at a case competition in the Netherlands. The competition opened the eyes of both students and faculty to the development and networking opportunities it could provide students. The UTS Case Team was founded in August that year by two UTS students and with the support of the UTS Business School.
The team quickly grew to 16 members and competed in 6 international competitions in the following year. The UTS Case Team has now established strong relationships with a number of competitions, universities and industry representatives and now has over 40 members, with ambitious plans to grow the opportunities available for the most talented students at UTS.
The UTS Case Team is proudly supported by the UTS Business School, who provide the funding for our students to travel overseas and compete on the international stage. The UTS Business School has supported the UTS Case Team since its inception in 2018.
